PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC)
The PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) will allow you to share your passion of diving and teach to others. This is also your passport to travel around the world. Find your dream job and work in amazing places. Once you will become an Open Water Scuba Instructor, you will be part of the most sought-after dive professionals around the world.
This course is made up of two components. The first component is the Assistant Instructor (AI) course, and the second the Open Water Scuba Instructor program (OWSI). These courses can be taken separately but are normally combined as the IDC.
During the IDC you will need to pass 5 dive theories exams: physics, physiology, equipment, RDP/eRDPml, plus skills and the environment as well as an open book exam about Standards & Procedures. Furthermore there are classroom presentations, confined water and open water presentations. We will prepare you to the max with many workshops and personal attention.
Once you complete the course successfully, you are ready to go to the Instructor Examination (IE). This is done by PADI, where an examiner will check that you have mastered the knowledge and skills to become an open water instructor.
When you have successfully completed the IE, you will be certified to teach the world to dive and transfer your love of scuba diving.
